Okay hear me out: I can see why people think this movie is bad. But I can objectively say it isn’t bad. It just isn’t for everyone for sure. I think because the summary of the movie is so vague it’s hard to know what you’re getting yourself into and can make it bigger than it is. All I can say is that it’s very artistic and with that it doesn’t hold itself to a blockbuster movie standard. Yes the graphics are weird but I think that’s very purposeful. Yes the rhythm and pace is weird at times but again it seems to be the point and it works well once you can settle into what it’s trying to give. It took me a minute to understand the pace and vibe but once I got into it I was hooked. The acting is great. The worst part for me was that the message was sometimes a bit too obvious and yeah maybe a little disjointed. But still overall pretty good. I have to say just let yourself have the first 30 minutes to really understand the movie it’s trying to be and you’ll enjoy it. It’s NOT for people who think it’s just another futuristic blockbuster with amazing CGI etc. from the first scene it tells you what it wants to be and you just have to listen and enjoy it. There are flaws for sure but it does not outway the good. Not by a long shot. But it’s also definitely not for everyone.
