This book is filling a gap in the literature dedicated to teaching mathematics. It goes beyond the formal dimension of mathematics and even beyond mathematics itself and this is what was needed for students to have a clear picture of what mathematics is, how it works, and what it is good for. It also covers well the fundamentals of mathematics, explained for the non-advanced student. The sections dedicated to numbers and sets are awesome. Great content.
