I watched it, and the story seemed good. Also, i have always been a fan of MK franchise, and i know the philosophy behind it. Two things were my disappointment though,one was that Johnny Cage and the other characters weren't in there. I get that this is like a "Warm-up" part, and there will be the second part which more fighters will be gathered...but you should not leave Johnny out. The second thing was Kung Lao being killed off by Shang Tsung. I hated that s**t. Why did you have to kill Kung Lao off? How are you gonna make him return, or how will he become in the future? Those are my two biggest disappointments, the rest is good. I loved that Raiden is an actual Japanese guy, and Chin Han's portrayal of Shang Tsung was perfect, i dare to say it even surpasses Tagawa's portrayal of Shang Tsung at some degree.
