I loved this moving movie and especially the acting of Daisy Edgar Jones. The expressive eyes says so much. The story kept me guessing and I cared about the characters. I recommend this movie and I love it’s based in my home state North Carolina.

I usually like Jake in his acting roles, but this movie put me to sleep. No decent storyline, his character had no story to make me feel for the character. He smiled too often to be a tough no nonsense bouncer worth 20,000 a month salary. The original Roadhouse had this beat hands down! Some movies just don’t need a remake- this is one! Hollywood writers- do something original- writers used to do it!
