Izzy Beam

I loved this movie so much. It's the perfect style. half medieval, half futuristic. With the shaky camera shots during the reaping and the bloodbath is perfect. I know that the reason we didn't actually see anybody get stabbed in the bloodbath was probably so it was rated PG13, not R, but the mixture of no noise, just suspenseful music, shaky camera, and not seeing anybody being killed, just their blood is so perfect. I also love that the reason for the hunger games isn't something stupid like overpopulation, because that would be a slow and innefficient way to deal with it. I also like that even though it isn't mentioned, you can so clearly tell rue reminds katniss of prim.

the best movie ever. a very creative story, fun cartoony physics, and very nerdy. just what i need to get through the pandemic

Love the western style. It's still the fun cartoony physics, over the top stunts, and just overall happy vibe while still having extreme situations.

I loved this movie. It's not as good as the first one in my opinion. but seriously the first one set the bar high. This one just couldn't reach it. I love how though unrealistic, incredibly creative invision of 2015.
