Danial Sartwell

I love most movies and series about vikings and/or viking lore. This movie as stated in other posts does follow viking life and rituals more accurately than most which is great to see but the story line is ok at best. I could live with all that and still give it 3 1/2 stars but placing nicole kidman in this movie having to fake a Norwegian/Icelandic accent is rediculous. (She was not that convincing) Its a job. i get it. Nothing against her or any others that faked accents (Im sure they did their best) but seriously would have been much better with authenticity in that aspect of the film too. Even if that means using unknowns.
