Perhaps the longest and most boringly slow slogging movie in the past 20 years- or at least it felt like that long while sitting there in my comfy movie seat - refusing to leave after buying the tickets and popcorn and drinks. My teenage son, who I thought might be more hip to this pseudo sci-go, was equally bored. What was the point of this movie? How did it get great reviews? The reviews seemed focused on how Dune, a 1965 Novel, had contributed to so many themes of epic movies to follow. Ok that’s great and I applaud the author. But the movie was made 50 years too late!
