This movie was shocking.
I went into it thinking it would be a unsettling murder mystery, potentially supernatural twisted rich muderer game but no. It took too much time to actually start the storyline, with pointless scenes and useless dialogue. Then the revelation towards the was quite obviously an all women power "lets kill all men and eat the rich" theme which is pathetic and overdone.
To make this clear - the women were able to be tied up, abused and overpowered every single night, yet the second they realise what happened, suddenly the hunters become hunted? The men run for their lives without any ability to fight back? The powershift was so unnatural and highlighted the directors clear motive - a feminist kill all men movie.
If there was a power struggle and the main characters came out on top, there may have been a tiny bit of redemption for the rest of the movie. And to finish the movie with a lower class, poor and uneducated black female magically becoming a CEO of a large tech company? Forced and illogical.
Waste of time and money.
