Cassiem Dharsey

I viewed the original 1996 exhibition at the Iziko National Art Galery in Cape Town that complemented this book. It stunned me! A testimony to man’s inhumanity in it’s darkest vortex. I still recall with horror seeing the original voucher issued (about 1937) by the White South African Government, then mandated by the League of Nations oversight of German South West Africa, to hunt and shoot ‘0NE BUSHMAN’, apparently for sport. I own one copy of this book. It is five stars for discerning readers and scholars. Pippa Skotness and contributors deserve accolades. M. C. Dharsey 15 April, 2023
