The cast, acting, directing and cinematography are all sublime. Everyone did their job to a T and then some. I really enjoyed the scenery and all of the surroundings in this film
However, I can't find any other thing to say about the story/plot other than it isn't very good. It's a little dark which is completely fine with me, but it lacks a significant and much needed crescendo and just kind of leaves you scratching your head
I give it an A+ for effort but the story is just terrible in my opinion. The writing, plot and adaptation to cinema fell short to me. Maybe give it a watch if you have some sort of connection to Ireland and the surrounding countries, but I don't think it has much appeal to the average viewer
