Awesome feel. Like a post-futuristic world that seems balanced aside from the primary plot. Patrick Stewart is awesome, as always, but he and the other previous Trek actors don't seem to accurately continue their old characters. They are different, and it's more than just the fact that now the writers are allowed to have interpersonal conflicts and personal baggage. Picard was more commanding, and I think in a way that would have continued into his older years--yet he isn't in this show. It's a terrific continuation though. I can't wait until they nix Rafi, and it would be great if they dyed Riker's hair darker so people like me wouldn't feel so old seeing him again.
