There maybe lot of issues with its spare parts but Fast X is that car which seldom runs out of gas. The franchise lovers would be thrilled to see several characters from previous installments but not all of them (sorry Monica Fuentes). There's a flow to the ride with some classic over-the-top thrilling sequences keeping you hooked up to your seats for over 2 hrs. The best part here is that there's more emotion than just family. There's grief, there's personal loss and a rare occasion where Diesel doesn't win the street race (yeah, I can't believe it too). Diesel is in fine form who looks more concerned than he ever was in any of the previous outings as Dominic Toretto. He does much of the heavy lifting and is effortless doing so. Rodriguez, Theron, Larsen, Ludarcris, Cena and others from the team look convincing. Tyrese ensures the fun quotient never drops when he is around. He owns the screen like a boss. But the real scene stealer is Jason Momoa who plays Dante, a menacing antagonist who is ahead of the curve almost always. Yes, plenty of action bits are over the top but this a Fast and Furious francise so we take it. Overall Fast X is a much better and sleeker attempt than the last summer release F9 which is enjoyable throughout it's runtime. Wait for the post credits, there's more for you there.
