People who’ve never been to art school wouldn’t realise how helpful this movie is in bringing perspective to the art world. This is reality. It’s doesn’t just highlight the most successful, jet setting artists. the majority of artists — even ones who made it to prestigious art schools, have experienced/will perpetually live out the humdrum life depicted in the movie. Also, the artworks shown here (including the clay model and jo’s installation) were made by real OCAC alums, not the actors. That’s how committed the makers of this movie are to realism.

Feels like someone so disconnected from social media tried to make a movie about social media. I agree the director needs more experience. I don’t know what Frankie’s purpose was when the show can go on without her at the Youtube opening. And didn’t make sense that the crowd cheered for Link when all of the internet basically accused him of killing a girl and he really put the blame on others instead of owning up to it, like what i assume all commentary channels would want from guilty youtubers.
