I didn’t hate this movie. I would watch it again. However I would be much more eager to watch and rewatch the first two. Let’s start with the positives: -the visuals are pretty and the characters are well thought out. -the last scene when —-SPOILER—- hiccup is reuniting with toothless. -all I could think of for the moment 😬 Negatives: -this movie was definitely NOT as dramatic then the first two. I only heard the famous theme song once. Even then, it wasn’t dramatic enough to give me goosebumps which is what I was looking forward to in this movie. -here was A LOT of crude humor. I mean there was bound to be some becaus of the plot with toothless and his girlfriend and hiccup and Astrid’s betrothal. -SPOILER—- the scene where the Vikings were saying goodbye to the dragons was WAY to short. I cried more at stoic‘s death than this. However they aren’t dying and the Vikings can see them again... they are saying goodbye to the MAIN part of what this WHOLE franchise was about! -this movie felt WAY WAY WAY shorter than the other ones. Probably bc is was so fast paced. Sad scenes were sad enough... but not long enough. Funny scenes ended just as quick as they started. -what the heck was going on with snotlout and hiccups mom..
