An Absolute Masterpiece!!!
So usually I avoid playing open world games cause I’m a sucker for %100 completion, and sometimes I don’t have the time or patience. In this case though, Ghost Of Tsushima is a huge exception! The game flawlessly delivers every little detail based on feudal Japan, and Japanese culture by every aspect. The fact that you switch from English to original Japanese language is also a win win! Especially knowing that the main character Jin is voiced by an all time favorite of mine Kazuya Naikai ( Roronoa Zoro from One Piece). The game has easily one of the very best graphics I’ve ever seen, and it’s certainly one of the most graceful and pretty games out there!
The exploring feels relaxing when riding through the cherry blossom fields, and the map is super helpful and easy to understand throughout the quest.
The game is really fair, as it gives you everything you need at the right time when progressing through, and it also offers you the option to switch difficulty mid game! Now aint that nice? As usual with open world games you got the option to focus on the main plot, do side quests and get some neat items, or mix and match anyway you want. The main story is absolutely breathtaking as it mainly narrates over the dramatic story of the Sakai clan, and the code of the Samurai that Jin (your protagonist) has to “contemplate on”.
The battles, the music, the tension, the views, the plot, the haikus, everything is truly unique in Ghost Of Tsushima! I highly highly recommend this game to everyone, especially Japanese culture fan like myself.
