I absolutely enjoyed it. I will admit that it made some unnecessary changes from the original, like some iconic moments between Zuko/Iroh, Zuko/Aang, Sokka/Suki, etc. I found it intriguing that they were able to combine the lessons of several 20 min episodes into one 50-min episode, although that didn't stop me from enjoying it. Besides, I liked how they gave us a little more backstory into Azula and her drive for perfectionism (Ozai pitting her against Zuko). I hope they give us Season 2. I liked how they tried to stay faithful to the cultures each nation was representing. I am a huge ATLA fan but my fondness for the original didn't prevent me from liking this one as well. All in all, I recommend it. If you're a nitpicker, however, I don't think you'll enjoy this remake very much.
