I think a lot of these reviewers either never played a classic Zelda game before, or have become so accustomed to having their hand held in modern games that they forgot that you actually had to figure things out on your own in classic games such as this one.
Its a remake that plays exactly like the original, the controls are the exact same as the original Links awakening. It does have some issues as far as the graphics go, but it doesn't take away from the game all that much.
