This is one of my favorite Alice albums. The melodies and build ups on these songs are superb. The guitar lead on “Pass the Gun Around” rivals anything David Gilmour has ever done. The tongue in cheek humour on “I Love America” and “No Man’s Land” is classic Alice. The macabre lyrics on “Fresh Blood” are disturbing. There is no bad track on this album. I never get bored of it. I still give it a spin every now and again, even though I’ve heard it 1000 times.
