I Love Idris! He is as brilliant an actor as he is handsome, but this was the movie that no "Luther" fan asked for. We wanted British Crime drama, with amazing London backdrops. We got lots of unnecessary jail time, a horrifying trip to Piccadilly Circus and somewhere terribly cold (Estonia). The story, plot, and even the new DCI were unlikable. I wish he would have said no to this one and kept it moving. They didn't even have enough decency to make him one of the directors! Idris is LUTHER dammit! Even his acting could not save this nonsensical movie.
