Very well written. Concise with key moments in history that shape the mainstream view. It doesn't bore you with unnecessary details to fill a page. You can tell the author is summarising the findings of his work over 20 years. He gives a very objective analysis of the political and social issues between the West and Muslims. He also provides an eye-opener to a lot of key events that are conveniently misconstrued or under represented in mainstream media.
I found it highly engaging and didn't want the book to end because it was consistently intriguing. I was also surprised to find the book censored in the UAE
