I didn't like the movie 'Anek'.. at all.. I usually like the acting of Ayushman Khurana but in this movie, he is pathetic.. probably for his role in which Ayush tries to do overacting and tries to act over smart. Ayush is an undercover agent and he acts like he is the boss.. the way he talks with the defence counselor.. the way he disobeys the order of his boss.. is too much stupid and unrealistic.. nonone can do it in real life.. In the whole movie, Ayush (Aman is the name of his character) does actually nothing.. he just wanders around.. giving birth of some philosophical insights and etc. That's it. Movie got some very boring bgm and music.. some very messy and confusing plots. Only some cinematic dialogues and the boxer girl story is good. I'm very much disappointed after seeing the movie and a two and half hour wastage.. it feels like.

Complete wastage of time while the main theme is interesting. Clueless, meaningless, one-dimensional storyline. Unnecessary lengthy songs are also very much irritating. At times, some scenes may look unreal and look similar to tv serial drama scenes. No twists, turns not even some little ones .. everyone knows what is going to happen on the next scene (for example: Abir losing his job, abir meeting with biki during bus trip, Rita removing her face mask on the final scene etc.) and specially at the end.. too much predictable storyline. I got genuinely the feeling that the filmmakers could simply do a short film of half an hour with this content rather than forcefully prolonging each and every scene to make it a 2 and half hours film. But, I liked the acting of Ritabhari, Abir and the mother-in-law of Ritabhari a lot. Thanks in advance.
