"Quite a good scene, isn't it? One man crazy, three very sane spectators."
A great film. I am aware that it is not 100% accurate to the novel, but to me that doesn't detract from the quality of the film itself, narratively or in general. Boris Karloff's performance is great, and Colin Clive's performance is also wonderful. Though it definitely isn't the greatest movie ever made, and it is debatable whether it is the greatest Universal Monster movie, I enjoy watching it each time I do. This is but one review, and no opinion is the right opinion. But still, I can't help but call this film great.
