in the very beginning I wasn't sure I'd like this adaption but I can tell you that when I decided to watch it and quit comparing to the books or movie, I fell in love with everything about it. Of you have doubts please keep going. By the end of Season two I am hooked. The actors, writers, costume designers, musical score, set designers ...all deserve awards. This is my favorite series to date.
