I understand that this game's negative reviews are majority surrounding the story and that given that the Last of Us series is a story driven game it would make sense that if you didn't like the story your review isn't going to be a solid one. But I think a lot of people let spoilers and leaks and political conversations and other people's opinions overshadow this game. Which is honestly a shame. No it's not the smash hit that LoU1 was but this is a great game. Super dark for a dark time in our history so approach with a clear head. But the story doesn't deserve the ire it got. Go in with no one else's opinion but your own and give the game a chance to finish before you chuck it. The last 5 hours is what really made me love this game. These characters really make you think.
