I grew up on this and so many other gems of the 80s. I'm a 30s millennial but my dad is Gen-X and raised me on this movies and others like it.
This movie is a total classic to the point that we still periodically quite it haha. "Bug Gnat? Hmmmm." And reference the epic golf ball scene. This movie still holds up. For those who haven't seen it, especially Gen Z or younger, just appreciate it for what it is. The overall story is heart warming with great writing , memorsble one liners and imo, one of the most iconic scenes in movie history. Que golf ball/trunk scenes. If you're in need of an 80s feel good comedy this is it. And if you're trying out 80s movies for the first timexid also recommend
