Warning...spoiler alert I'm a mom with a 29 year old alcoholic and addict. I don't know where she is right now. The movie took what could have taken another hour to play out, like him getting addicted at 14 to oxie that was touted as non addictive, robbing homes, exchanging sex for drugs, getting his friends addicted, a friend dying in her addiction, friends suffering out on their own, showing the places people hang out to get high, and the meetings, the spoiled holidays, the rehab and a mom who would give her life for her child. We want to think the best but we fear the worst. I completely understood and appreciated everything about this movie. The family complexities, the delusions and the devastation. We want to save them.
