Sean Connery is arguably one of the best actors to portray Bond, and this movie is arguably one of the worst written Bond stories ever. Kevin McClory was beyond incapable designing a Bond story, with all the copying and transmogrifying of tried and true ideas into modern garbage that people of the times would still scoff off as stupid. Sean Connery was tense and deflated throughout the entire movie which shows his own lack of excitement for the script. Instead of arguing and trying to win ownership of an idea from Ian Fleming, the creator of Bond, he should have played ball and really learned how to design a story from personal experience. This movie gets 5 stars for Connery still going along with this garbage, but an overall two stars for such a trash story and boring film. I hope you’re happy, Kevin McClory, for ending Connery’s Bond career with a fart instead of a bang.
