There were very high hopes for Diablo 4. It did not deliver on release. What a mess. As with a lot of people, I have played Diablo since the first game and played countless hours in each installment. This was the first one that I stepped away from shortly after launch for several months. I came back when there were some revamps, and surprisingly enough, I enjoyed it. I got my first Diablo 4 character to level 100 and I was so excited. That was last season. I log in today to find that all my time grinding gear and levels on my prized characters, was for nothing. All my gear is nerfed, and my level was set back to 50. Maybe this is trivial to some, by this completely negated all the time I put into my character. I have nothing to show for them now because they are level 50 and do no damage. I am staring at a skeleton of my accomplishment. All of this to say, I will not be purchasing the expansion and have uninstalled Diablo 4 with no interest in returning again. I am getting off this sinking ship.
