I put up with the back and forth of the book hoping that it would get better but then it fell apart at the space mining, Covid references and the submarine.
Not sure I should finish it?

I'm okay with shows being confusing, and plot twists. Etc. I don't know if it's bad acting, bad direction, bad accents,bad script or whatever but this was torture to watch!

Found it hard to watch, couldn't connect to the characters.
Ended up cooking dinner instead of watching the movie.
