Don’t know if the story was real or not; but the movie made me feel like that was really close to what life was like in those days, and the main actor played a role that displayed her acting skills better than any movie I ever saw her play in before. Generally everything about this movie was A quality. I think people are horrified of that crazy scene with her sister; but that is what was done then and in nearly every war since; in fact it was done worse; to many women and men. Humans are savages, and it will only continue; the way we exploit each other; practice no forgiveness, and think we are better than those who do evil. Dont believe everything you think.
