I don't remember anyone promising fidelity to the work (not even if they did it would be plausible), so I'm loving the super production, the characters and the plot that started to unfold. I’m an avid reader of Tolkien, but from everything unrelated to the books I only expect entertainment. If he wanted movies, he would have provided them himself. Thanks Amazon.
