Although it differed from the conventional style of Studio Ghibli it turned out to stay fairly true to the storytelling and progression. I can see many Ghibli fans disliking it simply because of the animation style but it’s worth a the watch! Obviously it’s no Spirited Away, yet I truly enjoyed watching it and seeing Studio Ghibli take a step out of their comfort zone using 3D animation.
