I'm going to start off with the confirmation that critics are critics because they have some deep un-intellectual need to be right or heard, but time and time again, they are proven wrong, which is why I never seek out reviews until AFTER I watch the movie that I want to watch. Simply enough, I've never seen a movie because of someone else's opinion. That being said... This not only was a well made movie, evoking joy, chills and great memories, it was a reminder of the journey of one of the most Iconic Singers of my life, if not EVER. Naomi Ackie was born for this role and she nailed it, as Whitney Nailed her greatest performances. I enjoyed this movie experience tremendously and recommended it to everyone with a hear & soul.
