This game is so beautiful I can't stand it. The story is good, the lore is great. There were just a few places where I think some additional development of game play could have improved the experience, but I absolutely loved this game. Definitely worth the $40. I am looking forward to other games to come from this team. The attention to detail - cicadas singing in the background, the pitcher plants in the swamp, the beauty of the landscape maximized through the art. The music is fantastic, the acting is incredible. I have to say as a textile artist, I have been overwhelmingly inspired by this game as well!

I want to give this a 2 out of 5, but I gave it 3 because this movie does have its audience. I'm just not one of them. Those that don't mind pacing problems and plenty of gore for the sake of gore will enjoy it. The movie played on the classic tropes from a different perspective, but they were still the same old tropes. It was worth the watch on Shudder but I'm certainly glad I didn't pay to see it in a theater.

Out of the norm for Vince Vaughn, a fun watch with several scenes that play homage to cult classic horror scenes.
