This movie was like a bad millennial acid trip! I didn't like the way they chopped up Elvis Presley's music and mixed it with hip hop. This movie was all over the place. The graphics were bad and so was the storyline. The actor didn't even look or sound like Elvis Presley. He looked like a cheap copy. This movie was a joke! I'm glad I didn't pay money to see it. How the Presley estate approved this movie is beyond me. I think this movie went a little bit too woke. In real life, we never heard Elvis Presley say one thing about Martin Luther King being shot nor did he ever speak on civil rights for black people in the '60s. As a matter of fact, the song "Hound Dog" was originally written and sung by Big Mama Thornton which he gave no credit to and refused to sing the song with her when it was suggested to him. This movie suffered from bad writing and bad actors! You'd be better off watching the Elvis movie done in 1979 with Kurt Russell playing Elvis. Better yet check out the movie "Elvis and Me" from 1982 which featured Priscilla Presley's point of view. The writing is better and the actors were better. Save your money!
