This movie was really sad. It shows the fact that the Presley family would allow a pathetic director to disrespect their father, and husband, for some financial gain. They must be concerned with inflation. I was very excited to see this film. I was shocked that an important part of history could be turned into a lies, but then again, that seems to be the norm. The positive reviews are generated, or made by a younger generation that had no idea who Elvis was. The Presley family should have threatened defamation but instead they did a 20/20 spot to say it was a perfectly done movie, never mind the extensive misinformation rampant throughout the movie. Austin Butler did a great job as being Elvis. The director should be charged with a crime. I never write reviews, but Elvis was an important part of my childhood and they turned that memory into a freak show fed through a food processor.
