This was my first Turkish series I've watched. I've heard great things about historical based Turkish dramas but I don't have enough time to sit through over 100 episodes. I wanted to watch something more compact and more modern. Though I did like first few episodes of the series but there were so many plotholes as the seasons progressed, I'm not sure I want to continue with the 3rd. season. There are so many things which don't make sense. Faysal's motivation (his unwillingness to kill the lead actor), Zeynep's flip flopping on whether she wants to continue to support The Protector or not, that battle on the bridge (how did Mortals got out alive?), Faysal going back to his work after season 1 like nothing happened and so many other things. The 2 lead actresses are pretty good as well as the direction (love Istanbul) but the writing is really bad.
