My husband and I saw the movie. I did like it very much. It does feel "documentaryish", but it also feels like a personal story. McDermond is wonderful. The only thing I think was misleading and not lending to authenticity is the crime and/or possible drug use that is probably a big part that occurs in this lifestyle with some people.
