Didn’t expect this movie to be as empowering as it really was. Literally cried, i think everyone needs to see it. It does a great job with keeping the whimsical joy and playfulness of Barbie and Ken with some super funny moments, but also reminds us what Barbie represents for women, and what being a woman is. Anyone mad about this film is just mad about how it depicts patriarchy, and wasn’t paying attention to what it was actually trying to show.
