The whole movie was extremely frustrating. Did not follow through on all the plot lines, did not convey romance more of a kidnapping scenario that she for some unfathomable reason seemed to enjoy at some points? Did not find Jacques charming AT ALL and she didn’t seem to either most of the film which made it very confusing when she would suddenly go weak at the knees in certain scenes. The ending did not have the intended effect as I could not tell if she even liked him, maybe the actors did not have any chemistry.
