No, it’s not a cinematic masterpiece…but it is a great story and it wasn’t trying to be anything other than a fun movie showcasing some people enjoying life who might otherwise not get a chance to be in a movie. Let alone be in a movie with several big time actors. It doesn’t have to be that serious. If nothing else, the lesson about getting to know the people you lead was a good reminder for all of us. Also, the “you’re no McConaughey“ line was perfectly executed.
