Not too long….disjointed. The storyline does not flow. There are lots of characters to include in many different tragic scenes and while MS took 3 1/2 hours to tell the story…it does not flow.
Leonardo tried too hard. The mouthpiece was a constant distraction, he overplayed nearly every scene. It takes a brilliant actor to portray a dimwit/mentally challenged character. In this movie, I think Leonardo has the brilliance but was overly enthusiastic. He is an executive producer.
Great movies I want to see again. This one, I’m going to reread David Grann’s book and other historical records and maybe ‘stream it’.
