I find it incredible that so many miss the depth of this movie. Screenplay & direction to build empathy from those that understand struggles below median wage. Bush Seniors ‘Thousand Points of Light’ program (after putting thousands on the streets) didn’t help matters; Arthur Fleck is a lost soul that fell through America’s cracks. I found ‘Joker’ to be very moving; A depiction of the fallout from a nations broken healthcare system as much as a dark dive into a DC Comics villain.
