REALLY improves as you continue with it - give it a go beyond first ep, by the time you're up to the third, you'll be hooked. Clever, intriguing and very very smart and funny.

Excellent adaptation that gets better as it goes on. With the recent trends of 'behind the scenes' documentaries on cheerleading, this murder mystery adds the extra elements of "Notes on a Scandal", peppering a small-town-teen clique milieu. The actresses playing the younger athletes (the two leads especially) are particularly impressive for both their acting and what are some very challenging stunts for cheerleading. The author herself was involved with this series, which is reflected in the tightly unwinding plot that subtly hints at the tragedy throughout.
