A jumbled mess. Or maybe that was me after the movie. Lacked plot, and structure. OK, maybe in a loosely defined way. The film captures the decadent underbelly of America and the income gaps between the rich and poor. Honestly, how much beer can you drink a day, or smoke weed all day or take nose candy without killing yourself or destroying your grey matter? And he gets the Pulitzer despite all that abuse?
