It tried hard but didn't quite make it. Emily Blunt didn't have any chemistry with the other actors particularly the children. If a couple of the popular songs from the original film could have been incorporated into this film it would have been more entertaining. The best bits were the cameos.

Great cast was let down by the script, it just didn't connect. I kept watching thinking it must get better, it didn't. The last episode was a waste of time it left too many holes in the disconnected story line. I got on the internet to see when the next episodes would be screened, couldn't believe that this was the last episode.
