I am huge fan of Disney’s live-action remakes. I loved The Little Mermaid. I loved Halle’s version of Ariel. I will say I wish they had more romance above the sea. It took too long for that to happen and it felt too short. It was hard to believe they were so in love. The other thing that took away from the movie for me was the theater sound. It’s gotten so loud in the movies it’s hard to concentrate on the movie. There were points the entire audience had to cover our ears. It was so loud and the theater was shaking. Otherwise, we enjoyed the movie a lot.
