This was a riveting season however the last episode seemed more of a finale than a season's end leaving with "what's next."
In the last 10 minutes of the last episode I'm not sure where the story will go next because it seemed a bit anti-climatic. I believe a story can be based on a "whodunnit" without the historical accuracies because it was refreshing to watch the young actors carry the narrative.
I love the main actors (street urchin-Charles Dickens' "Oliver Twist" meets "Great Expectations" via Leo/The Prince aka Pip as well as the sets and directing but it's the actors who gel the pieces together and these are unbelievably talented. Sherlock Holmes being left out of the story seems odd though. I hope it's renewed for a 2nd season.
