I was born the same year of this movie. I see Goldfinger as somewhat of a novelty, although for the time was very high tech. I'm 60 years old and am watching Casino Royale, which is just as deserving of an excellent critic rating for its time.

Johnny holds more interest in such a gory story. Hats off to Levinson for another great work. Only thing is, the running time could have been at least an hour longer. Again, it would have seemed like only an hour long. Very interesting bit of history!

So what if it's smug. Zany comedies are supposed to have a bite of reality for everyone! The entire production is looney because of attitudes of all involved in the production. Whomever came up with 2 of the most hated characters of Peter Isherwell and Madame President Orleans does excellent work.

She's young enough to be my daughter, yet sane and much more mature than your run-of-the-mill 60 year-old. She's really, really funny, and is my favorite actress

Tom Hanks... he just seems to be unable to outdo himself
