Irungapatru...heartwarming, detailed and comprehensive movie of the year!!! When I watched Dada released the same year, which happens to be also of the same genre and emotional all the way, I got Irungapatru from 'similar search' heading and put it in my bucket list as a must watch but somehow couldn't do it...however, yesterday I realised that I had this pending and finally watched the movie. What I got from it is- this is how traditional families work in today's world. We are not to compare with a lifestyle our parents had because that is not how it is nowadays...people have much more capacity to live independently and if they do live together sharing their differences and likes only love and that too pure love will work in such a family setup. What we have today is 'adulterated' love with fake promises, adjustments, dominating lifestyles and yet more...I shall never say adjustment is totally negative...a little adjustment here and there shall strengthen the bonds between us but a lot of it will, one hundred percent, spoil the family setup. Do watch this movie...a must watch for all who fear there's something amiss in your relationship.
Now for the performance...Hats off to the entire team right from the director to the background helpers...you have given us an absolute delight. Shraddha ma'am looks so beautiful!!! Often I felt like she was a doll making cute faces and expressions which blend in with the role perfectly...The other two female characters are with whom we try to sympathize the most. Saniya's cries put us in an emotional setting and that of Abharnathy ma'am was where I felt really sorry for her...their performance was such that we will feel attached to that setup and will somehow connect in psychologically. The Male characters were so blended in their portrayal and that's how the movie made a strong impact in the society...Thankyou all for giving us such good and thoughtful movies...Congrats again and sorry for the late remark...
